Linear Motif

From Drawing to Completion

This project was completed with a builder from out of the area, which meant that visiting the job site was not possible, so the designer did much of the communication over the phone and by email.

There was limited space to work with, yet the design was supposed to feel warm and inviting, which was accomplished by leveraging colors and textures.

Much of the space to work with was vertical, due to the 15’ vaulted ceiling. The designer brought the cabinets to a 9’ 4” elevation, and used 4 1/4” perpendicular legs on the island to keep the linear motif throughout.
