Expanded Condo Kitchen

From Drawing to Completion

The customer for this project bought a condo and wanted to update the look, as it had a dated style and was in disrepair. They wanted a bright kitchen, since the lighting was limited.

One challenge was the two wing walls that closed the kitchen in. Removing the walls enabled them to free up space to move the fridge from the back corner to the left end of the range wall; allowing for additional cabinetry along the back wall. The new U-shaped kitchen provided much-needed storage and counter space. The contractor lowered the bar wall to counter height and, when combined with the removal of the wing wall it created an open concept, with a greater view and more natural light.
